HOLLYWOOD. Feb. 20 (AP) –When both Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo left Sam Goldwyn for Warners, there was talk that they might co-star again at their new studio. Here’s her view on the matter:

“Definitely not. We made five pictures together, and that is plenty. I’m sure Danny doesn’t want to either. I want a chance to do some serious acting and with Danny, all the emphasis is on comedy.”

Warners wasted no time in getting Virginia Mayo to work. Within a week after signing a seven-year contract, she was emoting in “Dames Don’t Talk.”
