HOLLYWOOD – (AP) – While nearly every other top comedian is scrambling to television, Danny Kaye is in no hurry.

“I don’t think I’ll do TV for a couple of years,” he remarked on the set of “On the Riviera” “Everything is in too much of a turmoil. I’ll wait until it simmers down.”
At any rate, Kaye said he would never do a weekly show. He figures such a format would expend too much time, energy and material. He has not studied the new medium, in fact, does not own a set. But that will soon be changed. His three year old daughter, Dena, who was with him in his dressing room has pressured her father into ordering one. She wants to look at “Time for Beany.”
